This attractive wall clock draws direct inspiration from the iconic Octa Réserve de Marche by F.P. Journe, faithfully echoing the distinctive aesthetic codes of the celebrated wristwatch. The clock's reverse features an integrated electronic perpetual calendar display to synchronize the date and two battery compartments, one that powers the hours and minutes and the other one powers the small seconds, combining functionality and elegant design. The piece is powered by quartz but still has a strong connection to the visual identity of classic high watchmaking. The present example was manufactured by Ruegg SA for F.P. Journe.
