The 2017 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date ref. 116613LB, widely known as the “Bluesy”, is one of the brand’s most recognizable two-tone sports watches. Its 40 mm Yellow Rolesor Oyster case combines Oystersteel with 18k yellow gold, while the blue Cerachrom bezel and vivid sunburst dial give the watch its unmistakable personality. Depending on the light, the dial shifts from deep, restrained blue to a brighter, almost electric tone, complemented by gold-coloured details, Chromalight hour markers and the classic Mercedes hand.
Inside is the automatic Rolex calibre 3135, a proven manufacture movement with approximately 48 hours of power reserve, rapid date correction and Superlative Chronometer certification. Despite its luxurious appearance, the watch retains the practical specifications of a professional Submariner, including 300 metres of water resistance, a Triplock crown and an Oysterlock clasp with Glidelock adjustment.
