The Monaco broke every rule of watch design when it debuted in 1969 — a square case on a chronograph, at a time when round was the only accepted shape for a serious watch — and it became instantly iconic the moment Steve McQueen strapped one to his wrist on screen. This CW2113.FC6183 carries that legacy forward in a blue dial with contrasting silver registers, the same configuration McQueen wore, powered by the automatic calibre 12 chronograph movement visible through a sapphire case back. The bicompax layout, with its small seconds and 30-minute counter, keeps the dial legible despite the case's unconventional geometry, while the date window at 6 o'clock adds a small concession to daily practicality.
