The Rolex Sky-Dweller ref. 326934 was introduced in 2017 as the first Sky-Dweller in White Rolesor, making what had previously been an exclusively precious-metal complication watch accessible in a steel-cased format for the first time. Discontinued in 2023 in favour of the updated ref. 336934, the 326934 with its blue sunray dial quickly became one of the most difficult Rolex watches to obtain at retail, and remains one of the most sought-after references on the secondary market.
The 42 mm case with its 18k white gold fluted Ring Command bezel, deep blue sunray dial and off-centre 24-hour disc create a layered, visually rich dial layout unlike any other Rolex reference. The innovative Saros annual calendar, requiring only one correction per year at the end of February, displays the current month via twelve small apertures around the dial, while the second time zone is tracked by a red inverted triangle on the rotating central disc. Powered by the calibre 9001 with 72 hours of power reserve, 40 jewels and Superlative Chronometer certification, the Sky-Dweller is among the most technically complex watches Rolex produces. This 2021 example in the coveted blue dial configuration represents the final production years of a reference that has only grown in desirability since its discontinuation.
