The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver ref. 15720ST was introduced in 2021 as the successor to the long-running ref. 15710ST, updating the steel Offshore Diver with a refined 42 mm case, the new manufacture calibre 4308 and an interchangeable strap system. The khaki green execution seen here, with its Méga Tapisserie dial and warm rose gold applied markers and hands, has become one of the most recognisable and sought-after colourways in the current Offshore Diver range.
The brushed stainless-steel case with polished bevelled edges, black ceramic crowns capped in rose gold, and the unidirectional rotating inner bezel operated by the 10 o'clock crown give the watch its full 300-metre diver's specification in a distinctly Offshore package. The contrast between the khaki green tones and the rose gold accents lends the dial a warmth that softens the watch's otherwise tool-oriented character. Powered by the in-house calibre 4308 with 60 hours of power reserve, the watch is delivered with both a matching green and an additional black rubber strap via Audemars Piguet's quick-change system.
