The Corum Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy Limited Edition ref. 55.792.59 is one of the most distinctive shaped dress watches of the 1990s, translating the unmistakable architecture of the Rolls-Royce radiator grille into a precious-metal wristwatch of real character. In white gold, the design becomes especially elegant: the silvered striped dial echoes the vertical grille bars, the applied Rolls-Royce plaque gives the watch an unmistakable identity, and the miniature Spirit of Ecstasy above the case completes the composition with a sculptural flourish. Far from feeling merely thematic, the watch is executed with notable seriousness, from its compact grille-shaped case to the engraved hand-wound movement visible through the display back. What makes this reference particularly compelling is the discipline of its layout. With only two hands and no superfluous text, the dial remains pure and architectural, allowing the form of the case to carry the design. A limited edition of 60 pieces.
