The Datejust, introduced in 1945, was the first self-winding wristwatch to display the date in a window on the dial, and the reference 126200 represents the current generation of the 36mm smooth-bezel version, introduced in 2019 with the manufacture caliber 3235. That movement brought a Chronergy escapement and a 70-hour power reserve, more than double the reserve of the outgoing caliber.
This example carries the bright blue fluted-motif dial, its finely ribbed surface catching light differently depending on the angle, paired with applied 18k white gold baton markers. Fitted to the steel Oyster bracelet with folding Oysterclasp, it gives the Datejust's traditionally dress-leaning profile a cleaner, more contemporary everyday character.
