The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tourbillon Platinum “Number Two”, ref. 270.6.48, is one of the defining modern Reverso complications: a reversible platinum case that pairs a clean, legible front dial with the drama of a one-minute tourbillon revealed on the reverse. Produced as a limited edition of 500 pieces, it represents Jaeger-LeCoultre’s ability to keep the Reverso’s Art-Deco architecture intact while integrating true haute horlogerie in a format that still wears as a refined dress watch. Inside is calibre 848, a hand-wound tourbillon movement, typically described with small seconds at 6 and a power-reserve display at 12. The 26 × 42mm platinum case gives the watch presence without losing the Reverso’s elegance, and the reversible construction turns the tourbillon into a “private” spectacle you can show or hide at will. Offered as a full set with service papers from 2012.
