The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande GMT ref. 240.8.18 is one of the most complex Reverso references ever produced, using both sides of the iconic reversible case to deliver a comprehensive dual-time complication. The silver guilloché front dial displays local time with a big date, small seconds and day/night indicator, while the black rear dial houses the GMT function with a 24-hour sub-dial, east/west correction aperture and an 8-day power reserve display fed by the twin-barrel calibre 878.
The stainless-steel case with its reeded brancards, blued steel sword hands on the front and luminous lozenge hands on the back give the watch two distinct personalities within a single piece, transitioning from dressy refinement to functional travel tool with a flip of the case. Powered by the manual-wind calibre 878 with 35 jewels and one of the longest power reserves ever fitted to a Reverso, the watch rewards the winding ritual with over a week of autonomous running. Few watches pack as much horological depth into such a compact, Art Deco-inspired format, and the Grande GMT remains one of the most intellectually satisfying pieces in Jaeger-LeCoultre's catalogue.
The watch is delivered with all items shown in the photographs.
