Both the caseback and the cuvette of this pocket watch are signed "Patek, Philippe & Cie, Genève," the cuvette hallmarked 18k with the Calatrava cross, and the movement signed and numbered in the manner Patek has kept since 1839, each watch given its own recorded number. That number places this example around 1910, from the era when Patek's reputation rested on exactly this kind of finely finished pocket watch.

The white enamel dial is understated and legible: stylised Arabic numerals, a railroad minute track, a subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Behind the smooth, hinged 18k gold case, over 100 grams of it, runs a manually wound lever movement with a bimetallic balance and fast/slow regulator, signed across the plates. It has been fully serviced and is in working order.

The watch is delivered with all items shown in the photographs.
