The Rolex Perpetual 1908 ref. 52508 with intense black dial is the modern Rolex dress watch built on a 39mm 18ct yellow gold case with the signature domed and fluted bezel. The black dial gives the watch a sharper, more formal presence, framed by applied numerals and faceted gold markers, with a small seconds display at 6 o’clock. Inside is calibre 7140, Rolex’s slim automatic movement for the 1908, with a transparent caseback and approximately 66 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, and the watch is delivered on a matte black alligator strap with the double folding Dualclasp in yellow gold.
