The reference 5320G, introduced in 2017, draws its design directly from Patek's admired perpetual calendars of the 1950s, right down to the syringe-shaped hands inspired by a unique steel perpetual calendar auctioned for over $2.2 million. The cream lacquered dial keeps day and month in a pair of matching apertures at 12, with the moonphase, date, and a discreet leap-year indicator arranged around 6, a layout that has represented Patek's perpetual calendar since 1941.
This example houses the caliber 324 S Q, a perpetual calendar version of the manufacture's well-known 324 automatic, fitted with a 21k gold full rotor, Gyromax balance and Spiromax silicon balance spring, all carrying the Patek Philippe Seal. Cased in 18k white gold with the reference's distinctive three-tier "claw" lugs, it's fitted to a hand-stitched brown alligator strap with white gold fold-over clasp.
