The Cartier Pasha Chronograph ref. 1352 belongs to the period when the Pasha still felt unmistakably like Cartier, yet carried a more assertive and almost sporty personality than the maison’s more formal dress watches. Its round case, chained crown cap, cabochon set details, and broad engraved bezel give it an identity that is immediately recognizable, but it is the chronograph execution that makes the model especially appealing. The dial has the dense, technical character one expects from a 1990s sports chronograph, yet the overall impression remains elegant rather than aggressive. In this grey textured configuration, the watch feels particularly balanced, with just enough visual depth to animate the dial without losing the composed character that makes the Pasha line so distinctive. What makes the 1352 interesting today is precisely that mixture of Cartier design language and period functionality. Powered by the quartz calibre Q212P, it reflects an era when Cartier was less concerned with mechanical romanticism than with creating highly wearable luxury watches with strong visual signatures and practical everyday reliability. That suits the Pasha Chronograph remarkably well. The chronograph display gives the watch a more technical edge, but the case design keeps it unmistakably Cartier from every angle. On the blue leather strap fitted here, the watch takes on a slightly more relaxed and more individual character than the bracelet examples, while still preserving the sculptural presence that defines the model. Offered with its service box and service papers from 2025.
