The Cartier Pasha 42 “Manufacture”, ref. 2730, is the modern large-size Pasha that keeps the model’s unmistakable DNA; a round case with Vendôme-style lugs, a crown protected by a screw-down cover set with a blue spinel and secured by its chain, and a highly legible dial built around the railway minute track. In 42mm and water-resistant to 100m, it sits firmly in the sport-chic category, with a sapphire crystal and a transparent screwed caseback that lets the mechanics show through. Power comes from Cartier’s automatic calibre 8000MC, running at 28,800 vph with 27 jewels and a 52-hour power reserve. The cream dial balances Arabic numerals, baton indexes and blued-steel hands, with a discreet date at 3 o’clock, and this configuration is fitted on a steel bracelet with a double-folding clasp for an unmistakably “Pasha” wrist feel.
