The Radiomir line traces back to the 1930s, when Panerai supplied dive instruments to the Italian Royal Navy, and the cushion-shaped case with its wire loop strap attachments remains the model's most historically faithful silhouette. This platinum edition is a genuinely scarce piece, limited to just 99 numbered examples, powered by the Frédéric Piguet caliber 6850, an extra-flat automatic movement with COSC chronometer certification, a notable pairing of Panerai's tool-watch design with genuinely high-end Swiss movement engineering.
This example carries a blue dial with luminous Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9, set in the brushed platinum case with sapphire display back. Fitted to a navy alligator strap with polished white gold buckle, it represents one of Panerai's more understated but materially serious limited editions.
The watch is delivered with all items shown in the photographs.
