This Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Daytona ref. 6265 dates to 1972 and represents the classic screw-down pusher Daytona in its most utilitarian form; steel case, engraved steel tachymeter bezel, and a clean three-register dial built for timing at a glance. The nickname “Dark Chocolate” refers to the distinctive tropical ageing of the dial, where the original tone has evolved into a deep brown hue that collectors prize for its warmth and uniqueness while remaining entirely period-correct in layout and typography.
