The Breguet Classique Heures Sautantes reference 3420 is a study in restraint, but it is not a simple watch. The display is built around a digital jumping hour window at 12 o’clock that advances in discrete steps, while the minutes are indicated by a single central hand. What makes this reference distinctive is that the hour is shown in a 24 hour format, which gives the watch a very deliberate, technical personality even though the dial remains extremely classical. The case is a compact 36 mm Classique profile that stays thin on the wrist, and it carries the Breguet cues collectors look for, including the fluted coin edge caseband and a sapphire cabochon crown. Most examples you will see are in 18k yellow gold as part of an edition limited to 800 pieces, while a platinum variant exists as 3420PT limited to 400 pieces. The dial is white enamel with painted numerals and the movement is the automatic calibre 562. Offered with its original box.
