The Patek Philippe In-Line Perpetual Calendar ref. 5236P-001 from 2021 is one of the manufacture’s most elegant modern Grand Complications. Its 41.3 mm 950 platinum case has a refined and relatively slim presence, while the blue dial with black-gradient rim and vertical satin finish gives the watch a deep contemporary character. The defining feature is the in-line perpetual calendar display: day, date and month are shown through one large aperture beneath 12 o’clock, making a complex calendar function exceptionally clear and intuitive to read.
Inside is the automatic Patek Philippe calibre 31-260 PS QL, a highly complex manufacture movement composed of 503 parts, with 55 jewels, a platinum mini-rotor and a power reserve of up to 48 hours. The moon phase and small seconds at 6 o’clock, together with discreet leap-year and day/night indications, complete the technical richness without overloading the dial.
