This Piaget ref. 95575 B2 from circa 1978 is a striking expression of the jewellery watches that established the Maison as both an accomplished watchmaker and an exceptional goldsmith. Its compact hexagonal case is crafted from 18k white gold and framed by a finely diamond-set bezel. The dial relies on geometry and contrast, with a deep black onyx surround enclosing a pavé diamond-set hexagonal centre, while restrained hands and a discreet Piaget signature preserve the clarity and elegance of the composition.
The integrated white-gold bracelet is central to the watch rather than a secondary attachment. Its finely textured, scale-like surface reflects light more softly than the diamonds and creates a seamless transition from case to wrist. Inside is the ultra-thin, manually wound Piaget calibre 9P2, allowing the watch to retain its remarkably slender profile. The ref. 95575 B2 is therefore more than a precious timepiece: it is a fully conceived jewel in which onyx, diamonds, white gold and mechanical refinement form one coherent design.
