The Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 126710BLNR was introduced in 2019 as the successor to the ref. 116710BLNR, launching exclusively on the Jubilee bracelet and earning the "Batgirl" nickname to distinguish it from the later Oyster-bracelet "Batman" variant. The black-and-blue Cerachrom bezel carried over from its predecessor, but the updated reference brought Rolex's latest calibre 3285 movement with a 70-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer precision.
The 40 mm Oystersteel case, black dial with Chromalight-filled indexes and the blue arrow-tipped GMT hand give the watch excellent dual-time legibility, while the five-piece Jubilee bracelet lends a dressier, more refined character than the sportier Oyster alternative. The combination of the two-tone bezel and the supple Jubilee links has made the "Batgirl" one of the most sought-after modern GMT-Master II configurations, blending professional travel functionality with an elegance unusual for a steel tool watch. This 2021 example remains one of the most desirable current-production Rolex sports watches on the market.
