Piaget spent the 1960s and 70s turning ultra-thin watchmaking into jewellery, and this is a fine example of that period. It is a lady's dress watch in 18k white gold, circa 1974, its round case framed by a bezel set with twenty-eight brilliant-cut diamonds and a slate dial marked only with applied diamond indexes. The whole thing flows into an integrated bracelet worked in Piaget's textured "écorce" (bark) finish.
Inside is the calibre 9P, the hand-wound movement introduced in 1957 that made Piaget's name for slimness and allowed watches like this to stay so flat and elegant on the wrist. It comes with its period box and its Piaget certificate dated February 1975, and Piaget assisted with its cataloguing.
The watch is delivered with all items shown in the photographs.
