Breguet's Classique line speaks in Abraham-Louis Breguet's own vocabulary: a coin-edge case, hand-welded lugs, blued steel pomme hands and a guilloché dial. The reference 3787 places a full perpetual calendar behind that quiet face. The date is read not through a window but by a blued serpentine hand sweeping an arc across the top, the flourish that earns this model its nickname, with the day and month in apertures, a leap-year indicator near one o'clock and the moon phase at six.
The silvered dial is engine-turned by hand, each one individually numbered and carrying Breguet's secret signatures hidden beside the numerals, a mark the house has used against forgery since the eighteenth century. Driving the calendar is the automatic calibre 591 with a gold rotor. Being a true perpetual calendar, it tracks the length of every month and the leap years without correction until 2100.
