The Breitling Chronomat Automatic ref. 8808 is a bold, technical chronograph that captures the graphic energy of early-1970s Breitling. Its 41mm steel case is defined by the asymmetric Chrono-Matic layout, with crown on the left, pushers on the right, and a sharply notched rotating bezel carrying the circular slide-rule scale that has long defined the Chronomat line. The black dial, silvered registers, and vivid orange-red chronograph accents give the watch an immediate instrument-like clarity, while the date at 6 o’clock keeps the display balanced and highly legible. Inside, the ref. 8808 is powered by Breitling’s automatic calibre 12, pairing period innovation with the practical appeal of a full chronograph and date display.
