The Girard Perregaux Chronograph “Écurie Francorchamps” ref. 4946 is a limited edition created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Écurie Francorchamps, produced in only 100 pieces and individually numbered. The watch is built in a compact 38 mm steel case with a clear motorsport brief, a tachymeter scale for speed calculation, a full chronograph display, and a discreet date. Écurie Francorchamps was founded by Jacques Swaters and is best known as a Belgian team that competed in major international events, including repeated appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the team achieved notable results and represented Belgium with real visibility in endurance racing. The link is reinforced on the watch itself through the dedicated commemorative execution and the numbered series character of the reference. This example is offered with a Girard Perregaux service pouch, the original certificate, and a burgundy alligator strap fitted with a folding Girard Perregaux buckle.
