The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph ref. 5960P-015 from 2012 is one of the manufacture’s most characterful modern complications. Its 40.5 mm 950 platinum case gives the watch real presence, while the blue sunburst dial gives this reference a fresher and slightly sportier personality than the earlier grey version. The combination of annual calendar, power-reserve indication, day/night display and flyback chronograph creates a technically rich dial, yet the layout remains remarkably clear and balanced.
Inside is the automatic Patek Philippe calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H, an integrated chronograph movement with column wheel, vertical clutch and annual calendar mechanism. The central chronograph seconds hand and combined 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock give the watch a modern and functional chronograph architecture.
