The Tudor Submariner "Prince Oysterdate" ref. 79090 belongs to a lineage that ran from 1969 to the late 1990s, built around Rolex-manufactured Oyster cases fitted with more affordable ETA movements, a formula that let Tudor offer the same case and bracelet quality as its sister brand at a lower price point. The distinctive triangular hour markers at 3, 6 and 9 set this reference apart from the equivalent Rolex Submariner dial layout of the period.
