Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, telemeter and tachometer with a later Vacheron Constantin 18k yellow gold buckle. Accompanied by Orignal Papers !
Case: Three-body, polished, inclined bezel, concave lugs.
Dial: Satiné silver with applied yellow gold baton indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register, outer 1/5th seconds, telemeter and tachometer scales. Yellow gold baton hands.
Movement: Caliber 492, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
Diameter: 35mm Thickness: 11mm
The Reference 4072 is one of Vacheron Constantin's most sought after chronograph models, and was in production from 1938 until the late 1960s.
It is known that only 214 yellow gold timepieces with the Vacheron chronograph caliber 492 were manufactured
The watch comes from first owner with original period papers and has been full serviced 11/2019
