DAMIERS XXL, pop colors, and metallic finishes – the iconic "Speedy" bag by Louis Vuitton became one of the fashion obsessions for designer Pharrell Williams during his runway show in Paris at Fashion Week. It didn't take much for this model to fly off the shelves upon its release, already displaying a sold-out status.

A symbol of the brand, the "Speedy" originated in 1930, initially named "Express" in reference to the rapid development of transportation at the time. It gained immense popularity among customers and evolved over the years to become an essential classic for the Vuitton brand.

Just two days after Pharrell Williams' inaugural runway show as the artistic director at Louis Vuitton, the Speedy bag is out of stock, announced Bernard Arnault in an interview with Figaro on Thursday.

"Barely released, the historic Speedy bag reimagined by him is already out of stock!" commented Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH, emphasizing that with this new flagship product, the brand aims to enhance its "desirability" even further.

Symbolic of the French house, the "Speedy" was born in 1930, originally named "Express" in reference to the development of fast transportation. It garnered significant customer enthusiasm over the years, establishing itself as an indispensable classic for the Vuitton house.

A true homage to the heritage of the French house, singer and artistic director of Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams, made a sensation at the Pont-Neuf runway show by reinterpreting this cult travel bag. While some early versions were spotted during the campaign for the new collection with Rihanna as the ambassador, the June 20th show revealed new and highly desirable interpretations. Presented in new tones, notably, the XXL checkered "Speedy" bag in size 50 is one to remember.
